Magnani 1404 is a paper born from the union of the heritage and know-how of the historic Magnani mill, one of the oldest in the world, originally located on the banks of the Pescia river in Tuscany. Magnani developed and began exporting its paper around the world in the 18th century. In the 19th century, it had more than 150 vats for paper pulp. For 6 centuries, this ancestral knowledge was passed down from generation to generation. Picasso, Annigoni, Guarneri, Morandi were great users of this paper. The range offers mainly 100% cotton papers: the long cotton fibres make the paper more supple, resistant and absorbent while giving it a unique feel.
